Kevin and I had the opportunity to go to Washington DC for a long weekend getaway. We had a nice time sightseeing without kids. Kevin really enjoyed touring the Capitol, while I enjoyed the Supreme Court and Mount Vernon. It was also nice to sneak in a visit with Kevin's sister, Sherrie, for an evening. We also got to see his brother, Bryce, and family at a layover in Minnesota.

It's about time you updated your blog! Glad to hear you had a good trip. Visiting WA DC has been my favorite trip thus far. I even enjoyed it more than Hawaii! Crazy, I know. Sometimes I get an itch to live on the east coast for awhile but Sam will have nothing to do with it. Guess I'll have to settle for vacations.
